Sennelier Oil PastelsIn 1949, Parisian painter, Henri Goetz approached Henri Sennelier about creating a wax colour stick for his friend, Pablo Picasso.
Picasso, a frequent visitor to the Sennelier store across the street from the Louvre museum, was looking for a painting medium, which could be used freely on a variety of surfaces without fading or cracking.
Their collaboration produced Sennelier oil pastels. |

Derwent Inktense PencilsThis fabulous new pencil from Derwent combines the brilliant intensity of pen and ink with the versatility of line and wash. Inspired by the traditional painting styles of the East, Derwent Inktense can be used dry for rich, intense colour or washed out with a little water to create a vivid translucent effect. Once dry, the colour is permanent and can be worked over with other media. For a vibrant line and wash effect, draw a sketch with the non-soluble Inktense Outliner, add colour with Inktense then apply a light wash.
