Montana Spray Effect

Montana NIGHTGLOW; is a high pressure, high-grade nitro-acrylic based paint. It contains higher light emitting, luminescent pigments. Nightglow stores light as absorbed energy charged and emits that energy (as light), when in total darkness. Luminescent green glows in the dark. 

Can be used for indoor and outdoor applications. For best results, use a strong light source to load the NIGHTGLOW EFFECT spray and view in complete darkness without other light sources. NIGHTGLOW can be used on smooth, rough and primed surfaces like metal, wood, hard plastics, primed carton and walls etc. We recommend applying on surfaces that are pre-primed with Montana GOLD Shock WHITE 9100 to achieve the most intense glow effect. Please consider longer drying time may be required subject to the substrate applied on. Limited resistance to weathering, light and UV-influences. Once completely dry and cured, the longevity and durability of NIGHTGLOW EFFECT spray can be increased by applying Montana VARNISH GLOSS 400ml. We recommend use with Montana Fat Caps (e.g. black / orange).

Montana UV-EFFECT is a transparent effect paint that is only visible under direct UV light. It can be sprayed on nearly any surface and it is not visible in sunlight. It illuminates when exposed to UV light with a glowing, blue-purple colour. Ideal for indoor use, the luminous spray can be a great tool not just for making art but also in practical contexts such as night clubs, venue and property marking.

The Montana UV effect Spray can be applied to numerous substrates such as coated and uncoated screens, masonry, wood, glass and more. The UV light effect becomes more prevalent, the more coats are applied particularly when applied with a stencil. *Visibility: Due to the UV EFFECT’s semi-gloss finish, the UV EFFECT spray can be slightly visible if painted on a matt substrate. The application of the Montana GLOSS Varnish can be used to create an all over gloss finish which discretely hides the UV spray under one gloss coat. The UV EFFECT spray is compatible with other color and effect coatings within the MONTANA CANS range as long as total curing time has occurred. (24-48 hours). The Montana UV EFFECT spray Available in the usual 400ml can format for easy and comfortable use.

Applying in thin, multiple layers will enhance and increase the UV EFFECT sprays ability to produce a vibrant glow effect. To add durability and protection, the fully dry and cured surface can be sealed with Montana VARNISH Spray in Matt, Semi-Gloss or Gloss.  Always test spray on a non-visible area to check compatibility of lacquer or paint.

Montana VINTAGE; Montana Vintage Spray Filter is the tool for your retro project. Vintage Spray is a solvent-based, high quality acrylic, low pressure effect spray. The yellow transparent coating is a UV-resistant, quick drying semi-gloss finish that brings best results on white or light colours. Montana Vintage Spray is perfect for all creative workers that are trying to create a vintage or aged looking effect. 

Applying Montana Vintage Spray to your favorite black and white photos can create an authetic looking vintage touch. Signage and furniture can also become a center piece for any home of business. With multiple layers of VINTAGE Spray and some smooth sanding when fully cured, new objects can appear as if they have a longer story to tell. The Vintage Spray Filter can be combined with Montana VARNISH for additional protection once completely cured. Ideal for use on surfaces that are painted or printed, on furniture, photos and many other substrates. Multiple layers of the Vintage Spray Filter, irregular coating and smooth sanding (when fully cured) will intensify the used look effect.

For best results use the flat jet nozzle on the can and apply in 2-3 thin, even coats. Montana VINTAGE Spray Filter can be combined with Montana VARNISH for additional protection once completely cured. Ideal for use on surfaces that are painted or printed, on furniture, photos and many other substrates. To increase the effect light sanding can be undertaken between coats.

Montana GLITTER has been the choice of users the world over for a high quality glitter coating that is refined and aesthetic. Five metallic coloirs composed from premium coloured metallic pigment particles. It has a gloss finish which is delivered in a translucent paint base. The range achieves stunning effects on objects and artworks of all kinds whether you want to repaint your bike, create fine art or make greeting cards. Montana GLITTER 400ml can be applicable on many different surfaces such as paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic and other paintable materials. After being applied, a thin shiny lacquer coat will show with a fine distribution of glitter particles. Montana GLITTER 400ml is light fast as well as scratch and dent resistant. Further coats will lead to a higher density of particles and intensify of the effect. We recommend shaking well before use even after short pauses in application. For extra durability finishing your project with the Montana VARNISH Gloss to enhance the metallic effect. Please consider that the achieved final result will significantly be influenced by the colour and gloss level of the undercoat. The transulcent paint base can easily be covered with many common lacquer types. Can be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and conventional acrylic paints. Now available in the colors Silver, Hologram, Dusty Gold, X-Mas Red, Amethyst and Cosmos.

Montana HOLOGRAM GLITTER Semi gloss translucent paint is the vehicle base carrying the high quality fine holographic glitter particles for a sensational metallic effect that can add a totally new dimension to all kinds of surfaces. From paper to cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic and just about any other paintable surface. Once applied, the semi gloss lacquer layer will have embed a fine distribution of holographic particles over the substrate. The more coats applied, the greater the intensity of the effect. Applying a layer(s) of Montana Gloss Varnish will not only protect the surface of your work, it will also allow more light to enhance the effect further. The final result will significantly be influenced by the color and gloss level of the undercoat. The hologram glitter particles are carried in a clear base that can easily be covered with many common lacquer types. Can be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and conventional acrylic paints. (Not compatible with Synthetic based paints!). Please note, due to the weight of the pigments, for best results it is important to re-shake after each spray application regardless of time between sprays to guarantee the pigments are correctly mixed with the paint vehicle.

USE: For best results we recommend applying it over Montana GOLD, Shock Black SH9000 or a dark colored underground that has had time to cure, allowing contrast to occur for the glitter particles to reflect on. The Hologram Glitter spray’s clear base can easily be covered with many common lacquer types. We recommend using it in conjunction with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and conventional acrylic paints. (Not compatible with Synthetic based paints!).

Shake Well! Due to the weight of the pigments, for best results it is important to shake the can well for at least 3 minutes before starting and to re-shake for at least 10 seconds after each spray application regardless of the time between sprays. This will guarantee the pigments are correctly mixed with the paint vehicle. The Hologram Glitter Effect spray is best applied to a smooth level surface to show greater light variation. Undulations in the substrates surface may detract from the impact of the holographic effect. Application of multiple, thin, light coats will build up the particle saturation and intensify the effect.

Surfaces should be clean and dry. Shake can well for 2-3 minutes! Apply the spray at a distance to the object of 20 - 30cm.  Best holographic effect can be achieved on even surfaces the darker the surface, the stronger the effect. Prime object black with Montana GOLD Shock Black S9000. Let undercoat fully cure apply several thin even layers allow min. 5 minutes drying time between coats. Shake the can well again after pausing to avoid sedimentation of glitter particles the more layers, the stronger the hologram effect. Dust dry after approx. 10 min. Touch dry after approx. 60 min. Fully cured after approx. 24 hours.

The Montana Metallic Effect Sprays bring state of the art paint technology to traditional metallic effect colors. Loaded with a Montana Standard cap, these cans provide excellent delivery and reliability under medium pressure output. Not only are the Montana Metallic Effect colors ideal for application on functional objects such as bikes and furniture, they can also add a metallic flare to any creative or artistic project on paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic and other paintable materials. Made from an Acrylic-Nitro Combination base, the paint surface dries to a durable semi-gloss finish which is both hard wearing when cured (24+ hours) as well as flexible. Offering great lightfastness, the Montana Metallic Effect line can also be combined with the Montana GOLD, Montana BLACK and Montana ACRYLIC marker lines.

For best results shake can vigorously for approximately 3 minutes before use and apply at a distance of 15cm - 20cm to a pre-primed substrate. Re-shake between intervals to assure settled pigment is re-mixed. To enhance color result even further, pre-prime substrate with a similar Montana GOLD color as base. Apply in thin multiple layers, varying application strokes from vertical to horizontal on each run. Optimum use temperature is between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius. Drying time is normally around 10 mins for dust dry, 20 minutes for touch dry and 24 hours for total curing. Please note drying times vary subject to room temperature and moisture levels. To protect your artwork to its fullest, apply Montana spray Varnish in Gloss, Semi-Gloss or Matt once Metallic Effect colors have dried and cured. We do not recommend objects painted with Metallic Effect colors be exposed to high temperatures over 80 degrees Celsius.

Montana MARBLE High-covering spray paint for a deceivingly realistic marble effect. Can be used on many different surfaces such as paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic and other paintable materials. The marble effect is formed by very fine colored paint strands on the surface area of the object in question. The area which is to be sprayed is not entirely covered and will stay partially visible. Can be top-coated with many common lacquer types once thoroughly dry. MARBLE Effect can be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and customary acrylic paints. The Marble Effect can comes standard with a calligraphy that can be adjusted to create spray output lines in vertical, horizontal or variations there of.

CRACKLE EFFECT for the special crackle-look (e.g. for a vintage or used-look). Prior coating of your object is necessary with colors of Montana GOLD (recommended) or Montana WHITE (the thicker the base coat the stronger the effect). Give at least 45min but not more than 24hours drying time to the base coat before applying CRACKLE effect (drying time might vary due to temperature, humidity and thickness of coating). Apply spray strokes from left to right in a crossing over motion (cross-coating) for best results. After extensively applying CRACKLE Effect to your primed area, the distressing (cracking) process will begin to occur. The CRACKLE spray is high-covering and can be top-coated when fully dry and cured (after 24h) with Montana GOLD, Montana BLACK, Montana WHITE, Montana ACRYLIC markers as well as customary acrylic paints. Pre Priming with Montana Styrofoam primer is required for application on polystyrene (make sure to seal the surface completely). Color shown on top or donut.
USE: Recommended working temperature is between +10°C und +25°C. During application, protect the object and the surrounding area from spray mist. Surfaces should be dry, clean of dust, oils and rust before varnish application. Shake can well for 2-3 minutes upside down to take advantage of gravity. Remove the safety ring by removing the nozzle and turning the can upside down allowing it to fall out. To achieve greater crackling effects, further application can be applied after 5 minutes. GRANIT EFFECT Water-based special effect spray paint with fine plastic particles for a deceivingly realistic granite effect. Applicable on many different surfaces such as paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, polystyrene and other paintable acrylic materials. The Montana GRANIT Effect is very high covering. For best results it is advisable to prime your surface when using light colored GRANIT Effect shades, particularly when painting on dark surfaces. We recommend using the Montana PRIMER or the Montana TEXTURE spray. The latter will enhance the GRANIT look even more. Can be top-coated once thoroughly dry. Can be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers and standard acrylic paints. The GRANIT Effect spray also works well as a structure spray. Lightly coat dry areas to receive the desired granite-look. Available in the following colors: light grey, grey, brown and black. Please Note: GRANIT Black has a mix of green an black plastic particles to recreate the look of real granite. Montana GOLD Shock Black could be applied as a top coat once completely dry if desired.
