Our Hove shop opening hours are currently Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm

Our mail order department will remain open to process online orders between 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 9am-4pm Friday (excluding bank holidays).


Click & Collect

We will be open for collections Monday-Saturday between 9am-5pm at our shop address- 208-212 Portland Road, HOVE, BN3 5QT.

We are not open on Bank Holidays.

  • Orders have to be placed 48 hours before required. For example, if you want to collect your parcel on Wednesday the order would need to be placed by 12pm Monday. If the order is placed after 12pm on Monday collection would be available from Thursday.

    You will receive an email when your order is ready to collect. 

  • We will keep your items ready for collection 14 days from the date of this email. Once this time expires your order will be cancelled and refunded.

    Please note you will be unable to purchase additional items from the shop when you collect, however, you may join the 'shop queue' afterwards.

    Please respect our staff and other customers by queueing 2 metres apart.

    Minimum order value £20.


We are open! To ensure everyone's safety, the opening will be gradual: we will initially operate with a smaller team and reduced opening hours. We have also put in some extra measures - please read the below advice to be fully prepared for your first visit.

What are the new opening hours?

Our art shop is currently open Monday to Saturday between 9am & 5pm. Please check with us before travelling as we will be reviewing our opening hours regularly.

What safety measures does the shop have in place?

1. Queuing
There will be a queue system in place, one queue for entering the shop (main entrance) and another for click & collect orders (corner entrance, ring bell). The pavement will be marked every 2 metres to help you keep a safe distance from others. Please note, click & collect customers will not be allowed to purchase other items, except if they choose to join the shopping queue after collecting.
2. Protective equipment
We have fitted our tills with perspex guards to keep everyone safe and we will be regularly disinfecting areas. Hand sanitizer gel will also be available at the door which our customers can use upon entering and leaving.
3. Limiting numbers
We will allow a limited number of people inside the shop at any one time, our staff will monitor this and let you know when you can enter. Shop alone, if possible, and have a shopping list ready, this will help the queue go faster and allow more people to access the art supplies they need.

Do I have to wear a mask and gloves and what else can I do to help?

If you have a mask or face covering, we appreciate if you could wear it whilst queuing or inside our shop. Similarly, you can help reduce the risk of infection by wearing gloves or using the hand sanitizer provided. We kindly ask that you only handle items that you intend to purchase and that you practice social distancing to keep us all safe.

Do you accept cash payments and gift vouchers?

We will only accept card payments for the time being, no cash or checques. Please use contactless payment under £45 if possible. We will accept gift vouchers, however, you will have to spend its full value as we will not have the facilities to give you change on it.

Can I use the car park behind the shop?

Yes, absolutely, the car park is open for our customers both when shopping and collecting.

How long will these measures will be in place?

We will keep these protective measures in place as long as it is necessary and advised by the government. Our utmost priority is to make sure we are opening in a safe and responsible way and we will be reviewing these measures regularly.
